Jane's best friend - Pepper
Jane is an accomplished dressage instructor and trainer. Whether you are a beginning or an advanced rider, she can tailor a lesson or training program to your unique needs. Jane currently teaches and trains at several barns on Seattle's Eastside, including Redmond, Fall City, Duvall and Carnation. Email Jane to arrange a lesson.
Each riding session is based on the classical elements of training commonly referred to the dressage pyramid of training or training scale. (See USDF website).

and Ari - 12 year old Lipizzan gelding
Jane’s method of training is formatted around the belief that strong development of the basics for both horse and rider lead to long-term success in dressage. All sessions begin with a warm up to develop rhythm, regularity, suppleness and connection. The dressage school figures and movements are integrated each training session with the focus on development and strengthening of each particular horse’s athletic ability.

Whether you are experiencing riding for the first time, returning to the saddle after time away, or have decided to improve existing skills, I hope to share with you the joy and sense of accomplishment that working with horses can bring.
I am here to help make your time spent in the barn and on the horse a safe and joyful experience. I believe training should be fun, proactive, and effective. Need something different? Special? In and out of town a lot? Customized plans by private treaty gladly arranged.
